Tim is a freelance bassist currently residing in the New York City area. He maintains a busy schedule
performing and recording there. He has also toured extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe,
Scandinavia, South America, Africa and Japan.
Tim has recorded/performed with Johnny Adams, Chuck Berry, Gary "US" Bonds, Isaac Hayes, Billy Hector, Levon Helm, the Hudson River Rats, Chuck Jackson, Johnnie Johnson, Ben E. King, Earl King, Brian Mitchell, "Pinetop" Perkins, Sam & Dave, Bill Sims Jr., the Staple
Singers, Sugar Blue, Hubert Sumlin, Carla & Rufus Thomas and Joe Louis Walker to name a few.

In addition to his ever-increasing list of performing credits, Tim has also written and published the
highly-acclaimed tribute to bassist Donald "Duck" Dunn entitled
What Duck Done.
What Duck Done is
the first of his anticipated series of blues & soul bass studies. An instructor for more than twenty
years, Tim is also a member of the National Guitar Workshop faculty.
A long time proponent of Fender and Ampeg products, Tim endorses Xotic basses & Labella strings.
